Mankad: Ashwin the villain as Sehwag and Sachin saves day (Gabba)
In an ugly turn, Ravi Ashwin was bowling in the 40th over when he knocked the bails off and appealed as Sri Lankan batsman Lahiru Thirimanne walked down the pitch and out of his ground - ie he did a mankad.
After consultation with Sachin Tendulkar, skipper Virender Sehwag withdrew the run-out appeal.
