Crushing win as Murali & Mendis rout India again: 1st Test, D4 Highlights (SSC)

India surrendered the first Test by an innings and 239 runs.

Muttiah Muralitharan orchestrated Sri Lanka’s victory finishing with eleven wickets in the match.

Ajantha Mendis ended with eight for 132 — the best by a Sri Lankan on debut.

The star studded Indian "big five" batsmen sharing nearly 40000 Test runs between them couldn’t last 120 overs in two innings combined against the menace of Murali and Mendis.

1st Test Day 4 SSC July 2008.

Murali and Mendis were unplayable - even by the skilled Indian batsmen.

Wow, what a win by the Lankans. They are truly unbeatable on home soil. To down the mighty Indians with all the big gun batting stars back - with spin at that is fantastic. And this is the biggest ever home win by the Lankans.
