Debutant Pandya bowls India to win over NZ : 1st ODI (Dharamsala)

India defeated New Zealand by 6 wickets in the 1st ODI at Dharamsala, taking a 1–0 lead in the five-match series.

New Zealand were bowled out for 190, with Tom Latham scoring an unbeaten 79 and Tim Southee hitting 55. India debutant Hardik Pandya impressed with 3/31, while Umesh Yadav also took three wickets.

India chased down the target in just 33.1 overs, finishing on 194/4. Virat Kohli anchored the chase with an unbeaten 85, while Ajinkya Rahane scored 33 and MS Dhoni made 21.

India won with 101 balls to spare, with Pandya named Player of the Match on his ODI debut.
