Shakib destroys Kiwis: 1st Test, Day 3 Highlights (Chittagong)
After taking a stunning 736 with the ball Shakib Al Hasan 71 kept up his fine form with the bat as Bangladesh gained the upper hand on New Zealand. Shakib shot New Zealand out for 171 and then helped his team recover from 571 to 1848 a lead of 258 runs. The Kiwis face an uphill task to avoid defeat having never successfully chased more than 200 in an away Test. Only skipper Daniel Vettori stood up with 55 not out and 559 in the first innings followed by 439 so far in the second. Day 3 1st Test Chittagong Oct 2008.
