Sehwag and Tendulkar centuries put India in charge: 2nd Test, Day 2 (Kolkata)

Virendra Sehwag smashed 23 fours and two sixes in his 165 off 174 balls and shared a third wicket stand of 249 with Sachin Tendulkar 106 as India reached 534-2 by stumps.

Sehwag Tendulkar and Badrinath one were dismissed in the space of five runs towards the end of the day to dampen an otherwise fine day for the hosts.

Earlier South Africa extended their last wicket stand to 35 as they were all out for 296 as Zaheer took 4-90. 2nd Test Day 2 Kolkata. Feb 2010.
