Ajantha Mendis: Ready to step into Murali's shoes
Mystery spinner Ajantha Mendis burst onto the scene in a big way in 2008 and ended by bagging the ICC Young Player of the Year Award (2008). Since then injury has plagued him.
A strong showing against India at home, in both test and ODI series in 2010 has him ready to take over from the great Murali as Sri Lanka's spinning spearhead.
