Perth Preview: Gavaskar blasts sightseeing Indians, Pattinson out injured

Former India captain Sunil Gavaskar came down hard on Indian cricketers, who had skipped practice sessions during the ongoing Test series against Australia, saying they have not gone there for "sightseeing but to play cricket". Gavaskar also said there had been too much hype over Tendulkar's bid for his 100th international century, and blamed the batsman for this unnecessary focus. Meanwhile, James Pattinson was added to a long casualty list in the wake of Australia's victory in the second test after scans revealed bone stress on his left foot. 3rd Test Preview, Perth, Jan 2012
