Funny: Warnism cops fine and match ban

Liz Hurley leapt to the defence of her man, slamming the official 20Twenty Big Bash broadcaster.

It suited Cricket Australia nicely for Shane Warne to boost the fledgling Big Bash League after sagging interest this season.

But charges of using obscene language and showing dissent at an umpire’s decision attracted fines for Warne of $1500 while his shirt-grabbing incident with Samuels drew a $3000 fine and a one-game suspension.
