Spin trio wrests back control for India: 3rd Test, Day 2 (Mohali)

India's spin trio of Ashwin, Jadeja and Ojha brought their team back as a first ball duck to Michael Clarke and the failure of the makeshift batting order saw Australia squander a good start.

Openers Ed Cowan (86) and David Warner (71) compiled 139 for the first wicket but at the close Australia (7-273) were under the pump, with the recalled Steve Smith (58no) producing a gutsy half-century.

Australia 273 for 7 (Cowan 86, Warner 71, Smith 58*, Jadeja 3-56) v India.
