Ashwin destroys Windies: 2nd Test, Day 1 (Jamaica)

Indian spinner Ravichandran Ashwin claimed a second consecutive five-wicket innings haul (5-52) to dismiss the West Indies for 196.

Opener Lokesh Rahul, replacing the injured Murali Vijay, stroked an unbeaten 75 as India closed the first day at 126 for one to be in command.

India 126 for 1 (Rahul 75*) trail West Indies 196 (Blackwood 62, Ashwin 5-52) by 70 runs.
