Williamson, de Grandhomme deliver win: 1st T20 (Napier)

Kane Williamson hit a career best 73 off 55 balls as New Zealand cruised to a six-wicket win over Bangladesh despite an early scare .

Williamson and Colin de Grandhomme (41 not out off 22 balls) rescued NZ from 62-4 after the first four wickets fell cheaply. Earlier, paceman Lockie Ferguson took two wickets in his first two balls on debut but was denied the hat-trick when Mahmudullah blocked it and scored 52.

New Zealand 143 for 4 (Williamson 73*, de Grandhomme 41*) beat Bangladesh 141 for 8 (Mahmudullah 52, Ferguson 3-32) .
