Aussies eye whitewash despite epic Younis 175: 3rd Test, Day 4 (SCG)

Younis Khan (175 not out) resisted Australia's bowlers but did not have any support as Australia refused to enforce the follow-on with Pakistan trailing by 223 runs.

David Warner (55 off 27 balls) smashed the Pakistani attack hitting the second-fastest half-ton in Test cricket history.

Usman Khawaja posted 79 not out off 98, while Steve Smith for his 43-ball 59 as Australia declared at 2-241 after 32 overs at a run-rate of 7.53. Chasing 465, Pakistan was 1-55 at stumps after Sharjeel was dismissed for 40.

Pakistan 315 (Younis 175*, Azhar 71, Hazlewood 4-55) and 1 for 55 need 410 runs to beat Australia 8 for 538 dec and 2 for 241 dec (Khawaja 79*, Smith 59, Warner 55).
