SL throw it away as Miller, Ngidi shine: 1st T20 (Centurion)

South Africa were given a scare by Sri Lanka in a 19-run victory in a rain interrupted 10 overs match.

Sri Lanka were well-placed for a win at 59/0 at the halfway point of their chase but collapsed, ending on 107 for six with newcomer Lungi Ngidi (2-0-13-2) the main destroyer.

Earlier, David Miller (40 off 18 balls) and skipper Behardien (31 off 18 balls) added 51 runs for the fourth wicket off 27 balls to push the hosts to 126 off 10 overs.

South Africa 126 for 5 (Miller 40) beat Sri Lanka 107 for 6 (Dickwella 43, Ngidi 2-12) by runs.
