Rahim and Mehedi resist India: 1st Test, Day 3 (Hyderabad)

Skipper Mushfiqur Rahim and Mehedi Hasan made defiant half-centuries to keep Bangladesh alive against a dominant India.

Rahim’s 16th fifty and a 87-run stand for the seventh wicket with Mehedi Hasan, who scored his maiden fifty, helped Bangladesh to 322-6 at stumps. Shakib posted 82 before a rash shot saw his innings end with a century in sight.
