Yadav's pace, spinners dominate Australia: 1st Test, Day 1 (Pune)

Matt Renshaw and Mitch Starc hit fifties but India dominated the opening salvos.

Umesh Yadav (4-32) was the pick of the bowlers with Ravi Ashwin applying the brakes as the Australian middle order crumbled on a turning pitch.

Late in the day, Starc smashed 57 not out to help Australia end on 9-256.
