Aussies stun India as O'Keefe takes record haul: 1st Test, Day 3 (Pune)

Left-arm spinner Steve O'Keefe claimed a record match haul of 12 wickets to hand Australia a comprehensive 333-run win over India in under 3 days.

Earlier, Steve Smith was gifted 5 chances by India as he posted 109 to take Australia to 285. Chasing a daunting 441 for victory, India crashed to 107 all out early in the final session as their unbeaten streak of 19 Test matches came to an end.

O'Keefe took a career-best haul of 6-35 to finish with 12-70, Australia's best ever bowling performance on Indian soil.

Australia 260 (Renshaw 68, Starc 61, Umesh 4-32) and 285 (Smith 109, Ashwin 4-119) beat India 105 (Rahul 64, O'Keefe 6-35) and 107 (Pujara 31, O'Keefe 6-35) by 333 runs.
