Stokes, Roland-Jones put England on top: 3rd Test, Day 2 (Oval)

All rounder Ben Stokes smashed a sizzling century and Toby Roland-Jones enjoyed a dream debut with a 4 wicket blitz to shatter South Africa's strong batting lineup.

Stokes gave a masterclass in Test match batting with his 112 (153 balls) helping push England to 353.

Roland-Jones smashed 25 in 25 balls and then ripped through South Africa's top order with 4-39 as the visitors collapsed to 126-8 at stumps.

South Africa 126 for 8 (Bavuma 34*, Morkel 2*, Roland-Jones 4-39) trail England 353 (Stokes 112, Cook 88) by 227 runs.
