Magnificent Munro ton downs India: 2nd T20 (Rajkot)

Opener Colin Munro hit a blistering century as New Zealand beat India by 40 runs to level the series at 1-1.

Munro smashed 109 not out in 58 balls and was involved in a 105-run partnership for the first wicket with Martin Guptill (45 off 41). The Kiwis posted an imposing 196-2.

Virat Kohli his 65 and put on fifty-plus partnerships with Iyer, who made 23, and then Mahendra Singh Dhoni, who scored 49, but the climbing run-rate got to him. India finished short at 157-7.

New Zealand 196 for 2 (Munro 109*, Guptill 45) beat India 156 for 7 (Kohli 65, Dhoni 49, Boult 4-34) by 40 runs.
