Dananjaya, Herath spin out Bangladesh to claim series: 2nd Test, Day 3 (Dhaka)

Off-spinner Akila Dananjaya claimed five wickets in an innings on debut and Rangana Herath took 4-49 as Sri Lanka beat Bangladesh by 215 runs to win the two-Test series 1-0.

Chasing 339 runs, Bangladesh were all out for 123 in 29.3 overs.

Earlier, Sri Lanka posted 222 after spinner Taijul Islam bowled Lakmal for 21.

Sri Lanka 222 (Mendis 68, Roshen 56, Razzak 4-63, Taijul 4-83) and 226 (Roshen 70*, Taijul 4-76) beat Bangladesh 110 (Dananjaya 3-20, Lakmal 3-25) and 123 (Dananjaya 5-24, Herath 4-49) by 215 runs.
