Starc strikes as Australia dominate South Africa: 1st Test, Day 2 (Durban)

Left arm quick Mitchell Starc struck with a five-wicket haul to skittle South Africa for 162 and hand Australia a lead of 189 runs.

AB de Villiers was unbeaten on 71 as Starc, Lyon and Hazlewood ran through the South African batting. Starc took 3 quick wickets as they lost 4-4 to end the innings.

Earlier, Mitchell Marsh holed out on 96, as Australia's tail wagged to post 351 all out. Spinner maharaj took 5-123.

South Africa 162 (De Villiers 71*, Starc 5-34, Lyon 3-50) trail Australia 351 (M Marsh 96, Smith 56, Warner 51, Maharaj 5-123, Philander 3-59) by 189 runs.
