Fans taunt Warner with Sonny Bill Williams masks (Port Elizabeth)

South African cricket fans stuck it to Australian opener David Warner in an ugly retort to his clash with Quinton de Kock for which both players were fined.

Fans wore Sonny Bill Williams masks to taunt Warner after his wife Candice was associated with All Black rugby star Williams in a well-publicised incident in Sydney in 2007.

The Aussies saw red after photos with CSA's commercial manager Clive Eksteen and its head of communications Altaaf Kazi grinning with three supporters, who donned the masks went viral on social media.

The controversy forced Cricket South Africa (CSA) to issue an official apology to CA and the Australian team.
