Dananjaya six skittles Proteas for 121: 5th ODI (RPS)

Spinner Akila Dananjaya spun a web around South Africa's batsmen with a six-wicket haul to help Sri Lanka to a crushing win.

Skipper Angelo Mathews hit 97 not out off 97 balls as Sri Lanka posted 299-8.

Dananjaya then ripped through the South Africa batting taking 6-29 to register his career best bowling figures ODI's. Only stand-in skipper Quinton de Kock provides resistance with 54.

Sri Lanka finished the series with a respectable 3-2 result after the Proteas ran off to a 3-0 lead.

Sri Lanka 299 for 8 (Mathews 97*, Mulder 2-59) beat South Africa 121 (de Kock 54, Akila 6-29) by 178 runs.
