Maiden Khawaja ton trumps Kohli: 3rd ODI (Ranchi)

Under fire opener Usman Khawaja’s maiden ODI ton delivered a 32 run win over India.

Khawaja (104) and Aaron Finch’s 93 guided Australia to a massive 314/5 after the visitors were invited to bat first.

India collapsed to 27-3 before Virat Kohli slammed his 41st ODI century.

The Indian innings was wrapped up for 281 after leg spinner Adam Zampa (3-70) dismissed Kohli for 123. Pat Cummins (3-37) and Jhye Richardson (3-37) also grabbed three wickets each.

India still lead the series 2-1.

Australia 313 for 5 (Khawaja 104, Finch 93, Kuldeep 3-64) beat India 281 (Kohli 123, Richardson 3-37, Cummins 3-37, Zampa 3-70) by 32 runs.
