Ashes Highlights

Bradmans Invincibles of 1948

The Australian cricket team that toured England in 1948 was captainedby the legendary Don Bradman who was making his fourth and final tour of England.

They won the Ashes 40 with one rained off draw. This teamis famous for being the first Test match side to play an entire tour withoutlosing a match. This feat earned them the nickname of The Invincibles and has gone down in history as probably the best ever team for its allround skills and capabilities.

The 1948 team is the best of all time. Shame that the Don did not get the 4 in his last innings to record that magic average of 100.
