NZ dominate India after Boult strikes: 1st Test, Day 3 (Wellington)

Fast bowler Trent Boult followed up his hard hitting 38 at No 11 to take three wickets including that of Virat Kohli to put New Zealand on top against India.

Mayank Agarwal struck a patient fifty but Boult dismissed Prithvi Shaw (14) and Cheteshwar Pujara before he had Kohli caught by Watling for 19 after the tea break to leave India at 144-4, still trailing by 39 runs.

Earlier, Jamieson (44) and Boult (38) ensured NZ took a healthy lead of 183 when they finished at 348. Ishant Sharma took 5-68, his 11 bag of five wickets.

India 165 and 144 for 4 (Agarwal 58, Boult 3-27) trail New Zealand 348 (Williamson 89, Taylor 44, Jamieson 44, Sharma 5-68, Ashwin 3-99) by 39 runs.
