Warner, Handscomb battle heat and spin: 2nd Test, Day 2 (Chittagong)

Vice-captain David Warner (88 not out) and Peter Handscomb (69 not out) put together a fighting 127-run stand to have Australia in charge.

After battling the heat, Handscomb received medical treatment for exhaustion but played through the last session to ensure Australia posted 225-2 at stumps.

Earlier, the hosts added 53 runs after resuming on their overnight score of 253/6 as Nathan Lyon finished with 7/94.

Australia 225 for 2 (Warner 88*, Handscomb 69*, Smith 58) trail Bangladesh 305 (Mushfiqur 68, Sabbir 66, Lyon 7-94) by 80 runs.
