Anderson, Broad demolish India for innings win: 2nd Test, Day 4 (Lords)

Stuart Broad and Jimmy Anderson bowled England to an innings and 159 run win over India in under 3 days after the entire first day was washed out.

Anderson took 4-23 and Broad finished with 4-44 as India were bowled out for 130.

Earlier, England had declared on 396-7, with Chris Woakes finishing on 137 not out.

Rain delayed play several times as the Indian batsmen were unable to withstand the swing of the English pace attack when play was possible. Man of the match Chris Woakes took the final wicket to secure an emphatic win and send England 2-0 up in the 5 match series.

England 396 for 7 decl (Woakes 137*, Bairstow 93, Pandya 3-66, Shami 3-96) beat India 107 (Ashwin 29, Anderson 5-20) and 130 (Ashwin 33*, Anderson 4-23, Broad 4-44) by an innings and 159 runs.
