From 16 March to 6 April, Bangladesh play host to the 2014 ICC World T20 competition as 16 teams compete for the top prize. The West Indies are the defending champions having upset the host nation Sri Lanka in 2012.
The 2014 ICC World T20 will comprise of 35 matches and will be played at 3 stadiums - The Khan Shaheb Osman Ali Stadium in Narayanganj, BKSP Ground in Savar, whilst the Cox's Bazar Stadium will host the practice games. The winner will be declared in the final to be played in Dhaka on 6th April 2014.
Update on 6th April 2014: In the final, Sri Lanka secured a six-wicket victory over India to win the World Twenty20 and end a run of four defeats in global finals.
