Trent Copeland was born on 14 March 1986 in Gosford, NSW. He is a very accurate right arm medium paceman who made his first class debut for NSW in 2010. He made an instant impact as he took 10 wickets on debut against Queensland - this was the second-best haul by a player on first-class debut for NSW.

He made his Test debut against Sri Lanka at Galle in 2011 where he took a wicket with his second ball in Test cricket.
