Aussies win despite nervous Trimble debut (1986)

Debutant Glenn Trimble could hardly land the ball on the pitch due to a severe case of the nerves and conceded 32 runs in just 4 overs of largely full tosses.

His 32 runs were a massive proportion of the 1596 that NZ made in their 50 overs.

Skipper Allan Border 58 was responsible for ensuring that Australia reached their target in the 46th over with 1616 to win the match.
