Rohit smashes record double ton to crush SL: 2nd ODI (Mohali)
Skipper Rohit Sharma became the first batsman to hit three ODI double centuries as he led India to a 141-run win over Sri Lanka.
Rohit needed just 151 deliveries to post 208 not out as Sri Lankan paceman Nuwan Pradeep leaked a record 106 runs from his 10 overs.
Chasing a target of 393, Angelo Mathews smashed 111 not out but Sri Lanka closed tamely at 251-8.
India 392 for 4 (Rohit 208*, Iyer 88, Dhawan 68) beat Sri Lanka 251 for 8 (Mathews 111*, Gunaratne 34, Chahal 3-60) by 141 runs.
