World record McCullum-Watling stand hurts India: 2nd Test, D4 (Wellington)

New Zealand captain Brendon McCullum posted 281 not out as he and wicketkeeper BJ Watling (124) broke the world record for the highest ever 6th wicket stand with a mammoth partnership of 352.

He and Neesham then put on a century stand as New Zealand reached a formidable 571/6 at stumps and take a 325-run lead.

New Zealand 192 and 440 for 5 (McCullum 228*, Watling 124, Neesham ) lead India 438 by 325 runs.
