Spicy pitch leaves Pak batting in tatters (1990)

In the first final Australia easily downed Pakistan by 7 wickets after exploiting the early moisture in the wicket to peg Pakistan back to 5-50 at one stage.

Wasim Akram blasted 86 in 76 balls to take his team to 162. But Australia easily ran down the score with Dean Jones unbeaten on 83.

what a gem of a clip. Wasim Akram was at his peak....and was a fine dasher with the bat - 86 off just 76 in a losing situ. Pity, his batting faded away later in his career.
