South Africa were tottering at 268-6 at the half way point on the last day as Australia applied extreme pressure on the South African batting.

Runs were scarce as the Proteas struggled to get into their stride and kept on losing regular wickets including the big wicket of Jacques Kallis unluckily bowled off an inside edge.
