Clarke & Haddin counterattack has result delicately poised: 2nd Test, Day 4 (Lords) - ...

More drama followed in the morning session as England inched ever closer to breaking a 75year drought at Lord's. Phillip Hughes was ordered to stand his ground by Ricky Ponting after edging an Andrew Flintoff delivery to Andrew Strauss at first slip. Replays were inconclusive but umpires Rudi Koertzen and Billy Doctrove did not refer the matter to the third umpire. Freddie Flintoff bowled with pace and bounce to take 2 wickets as Australia limped to lunch at 76-2. Day 4 2nd Test Lords. July 2009.
