Vettori stuns Pakistan, Kiwis in final: ICC Champions Trophy semi final (Jborg)

New Zealand reached the final with a stunning fivewicket win over Pakistan.

Grant Elliott 75 not out and Daniel Vettori 41 put on 104 for the fifth wicket as they over ran Pakistan's 233-9 over run with 13 balls remaining.

Pakistan earlier looked set to reach a challenging total following teenager Umar Akmal's solid 55. But a middle order collapse left them needing a repair job from teenager Aamer 19 not out and Saeed Ajmal 14 not out who added 35 runs off 34 deliveries for the last wicket.

How can a crap team like the Kiwi's be better than Pakistan, India, Sri Lanka or South Africa? maybe the longer world cup format will be better at separating mediocre from the best.
