Cape Cobras strolled past Victoria by 8 wickets but both sides qualified for the semifinals after Bangalore beat Delhi in the later game. The game was reduced to 17 overs after the start was delayed when a suspicious bag was found at the ground. Monde Zondeki 221 struck twice in the first over to leave Victoria reeling at 02 but steady progress saw them recover to 1255.
