Asif rocks Kiwis after Ross Taylor shines: 1st Test, Day 1 (Dunedin)

Mohammad Asif playing his first test for two years took three wickets as Pakistan restricted New Zealand to 276-6. Ross Taylor made 94 for the Kiwis but missed out on a century when he was caught at slip off spinner Saeed Ajmal. Dropped twice Martin Guptil supported Taylor with 60. Daniel Vettori 40 not out and Brendan McCullum 25 not batted out the final hour to put on 65 runs to deny the Pakistanis. Day 1 1st Test Dunedin. Nov 2009.
