Joel Garner: Towering over everyone

Tall and terrifying is how most batsmen in the 1980s described Joel "Big Bird" Garner. He played 58 Tests between 1977 and 1987 and took 259 wickets at an average of barely above 20 making him statistically one of the most effective bowlers of all time. Garner is now the manager of the Windies team down under and provides a candid view of the current team. Dec 2009.
