Fiery paceman Shaun Tait 330 broke the back of the Windies by dismissing Chris Gayle Narsingh Deonarine and Kieron Pollard in a devastating early spell as Australia won by 38 runs. The tourists got to 8141 only thanks to a late flurry from Runako Morton 40 from 41 balls and Denesh Ramdin 44 from 26 balls.
