Afridi resigns test captaincy (Lords)

After just a single test in the job Pakistani captain Shahid Afridi will quit Test cricket at the end of the second test against Australia.

Afridi says "I would rather focus on oneday and Twenty20 cricket" following Pakistan's 150run loss to Australia in the first test.

He was under pressure after he gave his wicket away with a rash shot in each innings where he made scores of 31 and two.

Lords. July 2010.
