Raza, Hafeez & Ajmal strangle Aussies: ICC T20 WC S8 AUS v PAK (RPS)

Pakistan thrashed Australia by 32 runs in their Super Eights clash to keep their hopes of a semi-final spot alive.Pakistan’s spinners excelled with Saeed Ajmal (3-17), Raza Hasan and Mohammad Hafeez (two wickets apiece) destroying Australia as they made just 117 for seven.

Mike Hussey scored 54 not out. Earlier, Pakistan had posted 149 for six on the back of an elegant knock of 55 runs from Nasir Jamshed (46 balls with four fours and two sixers).

Both teams ended the Super Eights on four points each, which knocked winless South Africa out of the tournament, with Australia securing their place in the semi-finals.
