Record Taylor and Williamson stand has NZ in control: 2nd Test, Day 1 (PSS)

A record 209 run partnership between captain Ross Taylor and Kane Williamson put New Zealand in control.

Earlier, the visitors won the toss and were under pressure at 14-2 following the dismissals of openers Martin Guptill and Brendon McCullum. New Zealand 223 for 2 (Taylor 119*, Williamson 95*) v Sri Lanka.
