Cook feasts on Indians, breaks records: 3rd Test, Day 2 (Kolkata)

Alastair Cook struck his 23rd Test century as England dominated again.

The skipper broke the England record for the most test centuries and also became the youngest batsman to reach 7000 Test runs. Earlier, Mahendra Dhoni launched a counter attack to strike a fifty and nurse India to 316 all out.

England (216-1, Cook 136*, Compton 57) trail India (316) by 100 runs with nine first-innings wickets in hand.
