India wrap up 8 wicket win, take 1-0 lead: 1st Test, Day 5 (Chennai)

India wrapped up an eight-wicket win in the first Test against Australia with Sachin Tendulkar leading the hosts to victory.

Starting the fifth on 9-232, a lead of 40 runs, the Australians were rolled for 241 early in the morning session after a stubborn 10th-wicket stand of 66 between Moises Henriques (81no) and Nathan Lyon (11).

India 572 (Dhoni 224, Pattinson 5-96) and 50 for 2 beat Australia 380 (Clarke 130, Ashwin 7-103) and 241 (Henriques 81*, Ashwin 5-95, Jadeja 3-72) by eight wickets.
