Dhoni guides India to 3-0 series win: 3rd Test, Day 5 (Mohali)

In a tight finish, skipper Mahendra Dhoni smashed three consecutive fours to earn victory with 15 balls remaining. India lead 3-0 in the four-match series and are on track to deliver a whitewash.

Tendulkar was run out with India still needing 17 runs off 23 balls as tension built up forcing Dhoni and Jadeja cut lose to secure the win.

India 499 (Dhawan 187, Vijay 153, Siddle 5-71) and 136 for 4 beat Australia 408 (Starc 99, Smith 92) and 223 (Hughes 69) by six wickets.
