3rd Test buildup: Warner cops fine for de Villiers slur (Cape Town)

Controversial batsman David Warner was fined almost $3,000 by the ICC for his controversial comments regarding the reverse swing South Africa generated in the second Test.

Warner had told Sky Sports radio that "We were questioning whether or not AB de Villiers would get the ball in his hand and with his glove wipe the rough side every ball".

Dale Steyn, Vernon Philander and Morne Morkel unleashed a day four reverse-swing masterclass in Port Elizabeth, inflicting a major collapse en route to a series-levelling victory.
