IPL match fixing: Supreme Court bans Chennai, Royals teams

In a blow to the BCCI and current ICC Chief Srinivasan, the Supreme Court committee headed by Justice RM Lodha slapped a two-year ban on Chennai Super Kings and Rajasthan Royals Teams throwing the IPL into chaos as it only has 6 other teams now. The Lodha panel also banned team owners Gurunath Meiyappan and Raj Kundra for life from any cricketing activity after concluding the IPL match fixing probe first initiated by the Supreme Court under Justice Mudgal.
