Elgar leads South Africa recovery: 1st Test, Day 2 (Durban)

Stuart Broad took 3-16 to give England the edge as Dean Elgar's 67 not out kept England at bay.

Earlier, England stumbled from 179-4 overnight to 303 all out with Nick Compton's (85) wicket the key as Morne Morkel took 4-76.

South Africa 137 for 4 (Elgar 67*, Bavuma 10*, Broad 3-16) trail England 303 (Compton 85, Taylor 70, Steyn 4-70, Morkel 4-76) by 166 runs.
