Afridi sued for treason ahead of Bangladesh clash

Pakistan captain Shahid Afridi has been accused of treason for suggesting his team get a warmer welcome in India and is being sued.

The veteran allrounder caused uproar among his countrymen by suggesting the Pakistan team has been "loved by Indian crowds more than crowds back home in Pakistan". This is causing a massive backlash ahead of Pakistan's opening clash with Bangladesh.

In the other game, England captain Eoin Morgan says his team are full of confidence heading into their opening World Twenty20 match against the West Indies.
